The Centre for Teaching and Learning (AKL) offers a possibility for PhD students and teachers who don’t have Swedish as their first language to further develop their knowledge of Swedish to be able to speak to colleagues about work related matters and to take active part in staff meetings.
This is not a course; there will be no credits and no assessment. It is rather a seminar series and all participants are expected to contribute by suggesting themes to discuss in Swedish. The seminars will be led by Patricia Staaf, director of Center for Teaching and Learning as well as adjunct in Swedish as a second language.
We will meet ten times this term, 15.00 – 17.00 on the following dates:
October: 5/10, 12/10, 22/10, 29/10
November: 5/11, 12/11, 16/11, 23/11
December: 3/12, 7/12, 14/12
