All PhDs are invited to the Doctoral Student Union annual meeting Thursday, January 21st 2021, between 14:00-15:00 at zoom. At the meeting the DSU board will present its Annual Report for 2020 and afterwards all members are invited to elect a new board for 2021.
Please note that the DSU are seeking nominations for the 2021 Board!
This is an opportunity for you PhDs who are interested in improving the quality of your PhD education and would like to have a voice on important issues related to your work and research.
Working for the DSU provides an opportunity to engage with the senior decision-making bodies at the University, and as such it can be a very good and meritorious experience for those wishing to pursue further careers in academia.
We are currently lacking representation from the faculties of Technology and society and Health and society, so if you are a PhD student at any of these two faculties, we would be extra happy of you considered joining the DSU board. But please note that nominations are open for everyone that is interested.
You are more than welcome to submit your interest or nominations at email@example.com or to our sitting vice president firstname.lastname@example.org indicating contact details (name, email, phone number, faculty and department).
All positions relating to the DSU Board are compensated by Malmö University with institutional duty hours – in other words, your PhD will be extended by the amount of time you work on the Board.
